As Memorial Day approaches, we are virtually re-living some of our favorite moments of summer to get ourselves ready for one of our favorite seasons!
For a fun spin on a summer party, we dove into our into one of our client’s favorite movies and planned a whimsical Dirty Dancing-themed event. We brought the event to life by playing up one of our favorite phrases from the film: “I carried a Watermelon” and what screams summer more than a watermelon backdrop and watermelon-shaped cookies? You can find more inspiration from this event here!
For this 60’s-inspired beach side summer party, we wanted guests to have toes in the sand and to be transported back in time with bright prints and vibrant colors. Rattan loungers, sand games and a 60’s beach band brought it all to life. You can see more images from this 60’s inspired beach fete here.
Another great way to bring summer to life is through the spirit of Aloha. For this Island themed summer party, we leaned on a poppy neon color story, inner tube-filled lounge vignettes, thematic florals and hand-painted tropical macarons. Guests sipped tiki cocktails and enjoyed poke bowls to the sounds of a vibes band and hula dancers. Check out more from this event here.
To introduce a summer collection for an accessories brand, we created a surfside soiree at Bungalow, Santa Monica. The color story of the collection informed the styling of the event, with neon primary colors and tropical greens and florals. Guests munched on acai bowls as they mingled on the beachside patio.
And we’ve created an Amazon store filled with summer essentials to gear up for the summer season!
